Private pilot since 1997, I have had my Skylane for 48 years this fall. We are about 30 minutes in all 3 directions to anything, like groceries, stores, shopping, or any tourist attractions. The Air Force Academy is 30 minutes west of us. A good mining museum is located at the entrance to the Academy. An air museum is located close to Colorado Springs Airport, Santa's Workshop, Garden of the Gods, Olympic Training Center, and many more, just google Colorado Springs.
