Ahhh, the sound of silence… Schoolcraft, Michigan, is one of the quietest places you will ever visit. Get ready for a great night’s sleep… Sleep in your tent, or cozy up in our great hammock. The choice is yours, but before you retire for the night, make sure you gaze upon endless concourses of stars while enjoying some s’mores, stories, and music by the fire pit while your kids and furry friends play gleefully!
Wake up and have coffee and breakfast in the outdoor eating area. Enjoy the property by driving around in the golf cart, visiting the pond, and catching and releasing fish! When you’re finished, you’ll want to use the outbuilding (with stool and sink) to wash your hands and freshen up before heading to all the fun activities nearby…
The Area
One of our favorite activities is visiting the Kalamazoo Air Zoo Airplane Museum (only 8 miles flying, and you can fly in! Park your airplane and walk in!) They have loads of fascinating, interactive displays and exhibits, kids’ activities, hands-on activities, rides, a theater, and a live science show!
Kalamazoo Valley Museum is another hit. Learn about local history and enjoy the interactive displays.
The Kalamazoo State Theatre is also wonderful. They feature comedy and music shows and beautiful architecture to go along with it. The seats are comfortable, the acoustics are great and the overall feel is inviting.
And for golf lovers, find golf and disc golf courses all around!
