Welcome to Fruitland, UT where people are friendly, the air is clean, and the views are beautiful. Looking up into the night sky is surreal as you realize that every little spot is filled with stars! When you wake up in the morning you see the beautiful sunrise, breathe that crisp, cool air, and feel refreshed. As you look SW you will have a beautiful view of the Uintah Mountains.

Great for back country flying. The lot comes with water and power hookups for your RV. If you are tent camping, there is a hose bib and outlet to plug into. These are all located on the street side (not the runway side).

Four reservoirs are to be enjoyed in the surrounding area: Strawberry, Starvation, Red Creek, and Currant Creek. In these, you will find plenty of water activities year-round. You have ice fishing in the winter and fishing the rest of the year. In the larger reservoirs of Strawberry and Starvation, you can enjoy your watercraft, motorized and non-motorized boating, paddleboarding, canoeing, kayaking, you name it. In the summer there is biking, hiking, dirt-biking, ATV, etc. In the winter you are very close to world-class ski resorts in Park City. There is snowmobiling available nearby. Snowshoeing, building snowmen and just playing in the snow is a blast for kids of all ages. Many people enjoy hunting as well.

In short, the list is anything but short. There is fun for everyone!

You will be in a secluded part of Utah, yet all conveniences are very close. For starters, there is the Big G gas station on the main road (HWY 40) which sells gas, diesel, and propane. It also has a full-service restaurant that offers American fare. They have a little supermarket section with many of your staples. In addition, they sell some clothing, a few auto parts, and even small gifts.

Nineteen minutes down HWY 40 by car (or 5 minutes by plane), heading west,  you will come to the lovely little town of Duchesne (pronounced doo-SHAYN). There is an even larger version of the Big G station here and it is called Al’s Food Town. Here you will find everything the Big G offers in larger quantities, greater varieties, and even a pharmacy. Duchesne is like a larger version of Fruitland. You find more conveniences and more choices.

Thirty minutes down the HWY 40 by car (or 5 minutes by plane), heading east, you will come to Heber City. Heber City is where you find your closest hospital. Heber City has everything you need that Duchesne doesn’t offer. Heber City just keeps growing and growing.
