Fly Into Big Country Texas at Heritage Creek Airstrip (58T)
Bring your airplane to this Rhome, Texas getaway beside a 3,000-foot grass runway. After landing, settle into a farmhouse-style home surrounded by open fields, wildlife, and wide Texas skies. A car will be waiting in the driveway so you can explore the area—just fill its gas tank before you leave.
The home sleeps up to six guests across two bedrooms. Make breakfast in the well-equipped kitchen, pick fresh herbs from the garden for dinner, or take your coffee onto the furnished patio. Spend the evening grilling, watching the sunset, and stargazing. Pets are welcome, too.
Decatur and Justin offer local places to eat. You can also visit Texas Motor Speedway or head into Fort Worth for the Stockyards and its cattle drive. Then come back to the peace and quiet of the airstrip.
