Welcome to a pilot-owned home in the heart of Carmel, Indiana—where aviation stories are always welcome and the coffee usually starts before sunrise. If you know Stearmans, you know the vibe. If you don’t, you’ll still feel it.
This listing offers a spacious private bedroom with a Full Sleeper bed and your own full bathroom, perfect for a comfortable overnight or a longer stay between flights. Whether you’re here on business, visiting family, or hopping between airports, you’ll appreciate the easy flow and relaxed, pilot-friendly atmosphere.
You’re welcome to use the shared kitchen—we love to cook here—and you’ll also have access to an electric bike and scooter for getting around town. Feeling outdoorsy? There’s a boat available to rent on a beautiful nearby lake, and if you enjoy fishing, you’re in luck: the lake is great, and there’s even fishing right in our neighborhood creek.

If you enjoy live music or performances, the Palladium regularly hosts concerts and events worth planning around.
Looking to stretch your legs beyond town? Turkey Run State Park is an easy drive and offers some of the best hiking scenery in Indiana, while Clifty Falls State Park is famous for waterfalls and scenic overlooks—especially nice after a long sit in the cockpit.

If the Guest cancels after the check-in time, the Host will be paid for each night the Guest does stay, plus 1 full additional night.
Long-term stays (28+ nights)
Guests receive a full refund if they cancel 28 days or more before the scheduled check-in time. The Host doesn’t get paid for the booking.
If the Guest cancels after the 28-days-prior point, the Host will be paid 100% for each night the Guest does stay, plus 50% of 30 additional, unused nights. The Host is paid 100% for all of the remaining nights if fewer than 30 unused nights are left on the reservation when the Guest cancels (to a maximum of the equivalent of 50% of 30 nights).
