For those flying STOL aircraft and proficient with no-go-around grass fields under 500 feet, you may be cleared to land directly in the pasture in front of the cabin 🛬🌾. This is a private runway option only—advance coordination is required. The hosts will personally brief you, share an approach and landing video, and ask that a liability waiver be completed prior to landing. Tie-down space is available, and hangar space may be available as well. Alternatively, you can fly into 0A9 Elizabethton Airport and rent a car conveniently from the on-field Avis.

Paved driveways lead both to the cottage and down to the river, making access easy while keeping the surroundings peaceful. The cottage has been recently renovated with all-new furniture, beds, appliances, and more, and comes fully stocked with linens, paper products, and toiletries—everything you need for a relaxing fishing trip or cozy getaway. Though the owners’ home is nearby, the cottage is positioned a couple hundred feet away with its own private outdoor space, and the trees surrounding the back deck give it a charming treehouse feel 🌳✨.
